Small Steps

We have begun our Second Small Step program in our series:

Step Two: Witness.

Yes, this will be an opportunity for each of us to grow in our ability to talk with others about our relationship with God.  Of course at the beginning, this Small Step may be difficult for many of us to take, but it’s a most important step in our Christian walk.

Rationale:

In  Matthew 28. 18-20, Jesus commissions his disciples to “go and make disciples,” and we are asked to do likewise!  What does it mean to make disciples?  The short answer is to help others develop a meaningful relationship with God.  So now it’s time for us to begin being intentional about sharing our faith with others by taking this Small Step ourselves.

Timeframe:

A 12-week series beginning on January 30 and concluding on April 17 (Palm Sunday).

Choose on of these options to carry out this Small Step series:

Option 1:
Invite 5 or more people you know to church (e.g. Worship, Sunday School, churchwide event, etc.).

Option 2:
Invite 5 or more people you know to church (same as Option 1)
Discuss your relationship with God with at least 1 person you know

Option 3:
Invite 5 or more people (Option 1)
Discuss your relationship with God (Option 2)
Introduce someone to Christ for the first time
