Hey Everyone!!
Youth Group starts back this Wednesday, Jan. 11th! I super excited to see everyone and catch up. I have missed you guys! You should have received our youth calendar before Christmas. If you didn’t please email me and I’ll send one your way. Below you will find information on what is coming up…
· Compassion Project: You guys have exceeded my expectations and hopes for raising money for those in need. You raised $620!!! That is AWESOME! This last week the middle school and high school decided what they wanted to purchase with the money. I hope you know lives will be changed, improved, and saved due to your generosity and love!!!
· Youth Group for Middle School and High School this Wednesday, Jan 11th. 5:30pm is dinner in the gym for $6 and then Youth Group in the Powerhouse from 6- 7:30pm.
· High School MANHUNT! Friday, Jan. 13 from 7 – 9pm. Meet in the Powerhouse at 7pm. We will play Manhunt on our church campus. Wear warm clothes that blend in to enhance your hiding ability. You can also paint your face. Bring with you’re a flashlight . Pizza and drinks will be provided.
· Middle School Sardine Tag, Saturday Jan 14 7pm – 9pm. Sardine tag is reversed hide and go seek played in the dark. The person who is “it” goes and hides. Then everyone else is released to go find them. When they find “it” they hide with “it”. The first person to find “it” gets to be the “it” the next round. Wear dark clothes and bring a flashlight. Pizza and drinks will be provided.
· Basketball Concession Stand: Saturday, Jan . 14th 8am – 2pm. The Youth Ministry will be running the concession for the day and will receive a portions of the profits. I’m looking for a adult or two and a couple youth to help. You could work from 8- 11am 0r 11am – 2pm or the whole time. Please email or text me if you can help.
· Mission Trip Meeting, Wednesday January 25 at 6pm in the Powerhouse. If you are interested in going on a mission trip this summer or curious about what a mission trip is all about, please join us in the Powerhouse for our meeting. We ask the each student that attends brings at least one parent. You will be able to sign up at the for the trips at the meeting by putting down your deposit of $75. Space is limited. If the money is your hesitate, please let me know. We NEVER EVER want a student not to attend due to money. We have scholarship funds and such to help with that.
· Youth Sunday, Jan 29th at both worship services. The youth will be leading in both worship services. The Student Leadership Team has met and brainstormed some ideas. If you are interested in helping, we are looking for students to help be greeters, ushers, and such. Please let me know or Carli McCrary. She is in charge of getting youth for these positions.

PCC Youth Program FAQ‘s
Our Youth programs are divided by age groups, Middle School and High School.
We meet Sunday mornings at 10a for Sunday School (don’t expect dry lectures, we have lively discussions about current issues that young people NEED to talk about.)
We take tons of trips and outings. Recent trips include a High School Mission Trip to New Orleans where we helped rehab storm damaged homes. We played at Busch Gardens, we love to take movie outings and we even have silly outings like Mall Madness.
We are a welcoming group. You will feel right at home right away. We are a diverse group, about half girls and half guys on most days.
