Christian Counseling

The Pasadena Community Church Christian Counseling Ministry has been a part of our church’s caring history for 32 years. Many lives have been blessed through this Ministry. Our counselors are licensed professional or registered interns with graduate training in Christian counseling who help people with life issues of depression, grief, marital difficulties, stress management and addictions, among other concerns.

Our Christian Counseling Ministry is highly confidential and makes use of Biblical principles as well as appropriate therapeutic techniques for growing in practical skills for living.

While there is a fee for counseling services, no one is turned away. We accept most insurance companies and employee assisted programs (EAP).

If you have questions about whether Christian counseling is for you or someone you know, you may call for an appointment and come in for one session to experience what working with a counselor would be like over time.

Christian Counselors

Debby Lewis
Debby Lewis earned her MA in Counseling from the University of South Florida and has been a counselor in Pinellas County since 1992when she was certified in Addiction Counseling. Debby has been practicing as a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 1994 and joined our Christian Counseling Ministry in 2009.

Debby is experienced in working with adults, teenagers, children and couples in the areas of addictions, depression, anxiety, attention deficit, women’s issues, change of life issues, relationships and phobias.

Harold Wahking
Harold Wahking earned his Doctor of Ministry degree in Christian Counseling.

He is licensed in Florida as a Marriage & Family Therapist.

Harold has been a counselor at Pasadena Community Church since 1976. He is very skilled in assisting people struggling with depression and in helping married people grow in their abilities for developing a quality relationship with each other.
