Pasadena Community Church is a big congregation but when it comes to caring for our members and friends who are sick, hospitalized or need a face-to-face visit from a friendly face, we are there to here.
Important! Contact us!
Because of HIPAA laws, hospitals and medical facilities no longer contact churches or allow visiting clergy or church visitors to access patient lists even though they may ask the patient for that information. Your call may be our only way of knowing about the situation. Don’t assume that we know that you or a loved one is hospitalized. Contact us right away.
Our Visitation Team consists of:
- Pastors: Dr. Charley Reeb and Rev. Sidney Tompkins
- Director of Congregational Care: Barbara Posey
- Parish Nurses
- Stephen Ministers
- Visitation Team Members
- Others as appropriate
The above visitors have had special training and have been screened. Upon request any of them are willing to serve Holy Communion but we will need to know ahead of time in order to bring the elements.
Obviously schedules vary so visits are coordinated by our Director of Congregational Care based on who is available at the time.
Visits are made to area:
- Nursing Homes
- Assisted Living Facilities
or to individuals in their own:
