New Archive Room

For years, PCC members have collected the decades of our church's history but had no place to display the rich story of PCC.
With grit and determination, the archive committee assembled the church archives in a beautiful room that will be officially opened and dedicated this fall.

Trusts Allow You To Make A Gift to the church in the future.
You may set up the trust now, keep the income for yourself or other beneficiaries as long as you choose, or for life. The church would receive the property after that. Current income tax deductions can be available.

Addiction/Recovery Resources
Pasadena has an active counseling ministry and our church hosts the largest open Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in all of Tampa Bay. Each Monday night at 8-9pm more than 300 people gather in Room 3-C of the Life Enrichment Center for an AA meeting. You do NOT have to be a member of our church to join these meetings.

What is AA?
What are the 12-step programs all about?
What are the signs that a person is addicted to a substance or a behavior?
What support is there for families of addicts?
What are the 12-steps of recovery?

The Dedication
of "Bubba One"

The new church bus is now named "Bubba One" after our dear Bubba Walker, who was the Chair of the Trustees last summer when PCC launched the Transportation ministry. The ministry, today, is so popular and neded that we even need more licensed drivers.

Student Loans Available
Pasadena Community Church

Our church has a college scholarship fund that you
can apply for right here online. This fund was established
in the 1930’s by late Dr. and Mrs. J. Wallace Hamilton
to give a helping hand for college or vocational training
to youth and adults furthering their education and was
supported by profits from the sale of Dr. Hamilton’s
printed sermon pamphlets.
Through the years George and Nita Roughgarden formed a trust with interest and dividends assigned to the Fund; Helen and Paul Hounchell donated an office building to be sold; and Mrs. Clare Trice made a very generous gift to the Student Loan fund.

Through additional gifts, memorials and bequests from many other members and friends of Pasadena Community Church, the Fund has remained active for over 70 years.
The loan must be repaid so other students can benefit from this Fund in the future.

The Fund is administered by the Student Loan Committee of
Pasadena Community Church, which meets the last Friday of
most months to consider applications. (November and December meetings are a week earlier.) Students are asked to submit their applications by the tenth of the month if at all possible.

Anyone planning to attend college or vocational school may apply for a loan. In granting loans the Committee will follow guidelines regarding academicstanding,
membership and activity in a church, and the availability of money for loans.
